A structured transitional housing and independent living program helping young adults build stability, develop life skills, secure employment, and move toward permanent housing.
The Bridge to Independence Program is a structured transitional housing program providing safe residential housing and individualized support services.
The program specifically serves youth ages 18–23 aging out of foster care and young adults ages 18–24 with disabilities who are capable of semi-independent living.
Through safe shared housing, life-skills development, employment support, financial education, case management, and transition planning, participants work toward stable long-term housing and greater independence.
Participants are provided safe, structured shared housing environments that promote stability, accountability, and personal development.
Participants receive hands-on instruction in budgeting, meal preparation, household management, time management, communication, and daily living.
Support includes career planning, resume development, job applications, interview preparation, education, vocational programs, and workforce resources.
Each participant develops a structured plan for permanent housing, community integration, and long-term support.
Individualized case management provides accountability, measurable goals, service coordination, and ongoing support.
Participants receive guidance in budgeting, savings, credit awareness, banking, and responsible financial decision-making.
